Celebrate New Years Eve in Hobart in 2021
There are loads of ways to celebrate new years eve in Hobart. From fireworks on the Derwent River or a fabulous feast of local Tasmanian food – there’s something to suit any taste!
First up, there’s Flight NYE2021, which is one of the best ways to catch the city’s waterfront firework display! The event is part of Tasmania’s Taste of Summer – a week long food and wine festival showcasing excellent Tassie produce. The Flight NYE2021 event (and yes, we’ll admit it’s a bit of an odd name) has tiered ticketing offering up everything from fabulous four-course meals with paired wines, to general admission. You can also head to one of Hobart’s many waterfront bars to enjoy a front row seat of the firework display. The Glass House are doing a Chefs Menu dinner for $120, while the Hobart Function and Conference Centre are hosting a seven course degustation dinner for $190.
Celebrate New Years Eve in Launceston in 2021
Beerfest at Royal Park is where you’ll want to be to celebrate New Years Eve in Launceston. Despite the name, the event will offer a family-friendly bonanza during the day with entertainment, rides, jumping castles and face painting. At night there’ll be fireworks, music and roving performers. It’s a ticketed event from $12.97 and up, with more information on the Beerfest website here.
Celebrate New Years Eve in Devonport in 2021
Head on down to Providore Place between 3pm and 8pm to celebrate new years eve in Devonport. The Around the World event will have an exciting range of food, activities and live entertainment so you can celebrate the new year close to home. Check out the Facebook page for more details.
Celebrate New Years Eve in Burnie in 2021
