Wander along the bustling North Hobart dining strip and you’ll soon find the local-favourite Indian restaurant, Annapurna. This much-loved restaurant serves up hearty meals at low prices.

Having been around for years, Annapurna has become a Hobart dining institution that’s bustling even on a Tuesday night. It’s become so popular that they’ve expanded to have restaurants in Salamanca and Bellerive (though NoHo is still our number one pick).

Annapurna is low-key and oozes a relaxed vibe. However the striking bright pink walls and patterned wallpaper makes it a dining experience you won’t forget.

Annapurna has your typical western-Indian style food that we’ve all come to know and love.  Crowd favourites include the butter chicken ($18.90), the beef korma ($18.90) and a variety of dosa (from $15.90). The banquet options (from $25.90 per person) are also a great option.

If you’re heading over to Annapurna, you’re going to want to be wearing something casual or smart-casual. If you’re in the need of something new to spruce up your wardrobe before you go, then head on over to the Iconic for some fashion inspo and to grab yourself a bargain.

But if leaving the house isn’t your thing and you’d much rather be sitting on your couch without any pants (we hear ya), then don’t fret – Anapurna also does a roaring deliveroo trade. So grab your phone and get the good stuff delivered straight to your door.
